Tech Wind Co Ltd has released a 10.1-inch Android tablet “CLIDE A10A” in Japan. Price excluding taxes is 24,800 yen which is about 222 US dollars. Specs include 10.1 inch WUXGA 1920 x 1200 pixel display and uses IPS tech for better viewing angles.
The Clide A10A spec sheet include Intel Atom Z3735F quad core processor that runs at 1.33GHz clock speed. The CPU is backed by 2GB DDR3L memory, 16GB flash storage and slew of ports and connectivity options that include Micro USB 2.0 (charging support), full size USB 2.0, IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n compatible wireless LAN, Mini HDMI output, microSDXC card slot, front and rear 5MP camera, voice input / output ports.
Tech Wind says the tablet is stylus-friendly and they have included a memo app that is ideal for stylus use. Battery capacity is 8000mAh and official figures say it yielded 5 hours 20 minutes while playing an HD video.
Tech Wind Clide A10A measures 260 × 168 × 9.6mm (width × depth × height) and its weight is about 590g. [press release]
