Asus ZenFone 3 Laser is latest octa core phone packing 4GB RAM from Taiwanese giant making its way to Japan. Last month, the company launched ZenPad 3S in Japan and it appears Asus is very serious in Japan. There is fingerprint sensor on the back that not only speeds up the log-in process but also improves security in a big way.
Battery in 3G standby mode is 3000mAh and there is VoLTE onboard as well. Asus ZenFone 3 Laser specifications include Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 830 processor, 4GB RAM, 5.5 inch full HD 1920×1080 pixel display, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Micro USB, micro-SD card, Micro SIM slot, Nano SIM slot, IEEE 802.11n-enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2 and voice input / output jack.
There are lot of sensors onboard including GPS, acceleration, electronic compass, light, gyroscope, proximity, fingerprint and RGB. LTE band list is – FDD-LTE is 1/2/3/5/6/7/8/18/19/28, TD-LTE is 38/41, W-CDMA is 1/2/5/6/8 / 19, GSM / EDGE is 850/900 / 1,800 / 1,900MHz. Battery is lithium polymer with battery life of about 13.1-14.8 hours. Body size is about 76 × 149 × 7.9mm (width × depth × height) and weight is about 150 grams.
Front display is protected by corning gorilla glass 3 with anti-fingerprint coating. For premium experience and looks, Asus has equipped the ZenFone 3 with 2.5D curved glass.
Pricing details are not yet available but we will keep you updated once we come to know about them. It won’t be cheap considering the fact it comes with quad core flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but it won’t be too iPhone-like high too since Asus will be trying to make its name in the very competitive smartphone market in a big way.
