Galaxy-team France has churned out an working patch for the Samsung Galaxy S II that will make NFC work under Android 4.0, aka ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich). To install it, you will flash the attachment from this thread and flash it in CWM (clockwork mod) and reboot the phone twice. A new parameter should appear in “Plus” amongst Radios (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).

Android beam will also start working with this patch. Oh, and it would not work with all the ROMs out there. It has been said to be working with LPH, LP7, CM9, AndyX 7.11 and MIUI ICS ROM.
