Acer has finally launched Liquid Z3 smart phone in all European markets today. It is the company’s fifth Android phhone this year (after Liquid E1, Z2, E2 and S1). The Z3 features a fast dual core processor clocked at 1GHz and is meant for first time smartphone users.
The Acer Liquid Z3 runs Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system and measures just 109x60x10 mm and weighs just 120 grams. Specs include dual-core 1GHz processor, a bright screen 3.5-inch , 4 GB of internal memory, free Wi-Fi, GPS and a 3 megapixel camera. The phone has four different profiles that can be customized for users of any age.
Basic Mode: for younger people who only call and send messages;
Senior Mode: messages, communications, weather forecasting, screen magnification, clock, immediate calls to contacts;
Classic mode: all the main functions with a simple and organized, designed for those who use a smartphone for the first time;
Keypad mode: primarily for those who use the telephone features and wants to use the old keypad.
The Z3 supports Acer Cloud which is a way to share files and media. It supports other Android phones too. Acer Cloud simplifies the management of their digital archives of most mobile devices, regardless of operating system, and is free with the new Acer products.
This Acer phone will be made available in two colors, white and black from mid-August in Belgium, Holland, Ukraine, France, Spain, UK, Italy , Germany and Russia suggested retail price of € 99. There will also be several accessories, including flip-cover, rear body shells in the colors Black Rock, Classic White, Sakura Pink, Pop Yellow and Turquoise Lagoon and protective film for the screen.
