Sony Vaio Z 2011 Disassembly

Our friends at pcwatch have taken apart the incredible Vaio Z 2011 model. These pictures will interest any self respecting geek and we were thrilled to see how much ‘stuff’ Sony was able to squeeze in into such tiny frame.

The SSD appears to be made by Samsung. Here is the picture of tiny Vaio Z’s motherboard. The SSD does not look that hard to replace for a typical notebook user. Just take the back of Vaio Z off and careful take the SSD out.

Vaio Z is still one of the most powerful (and expensive) PC notebooks around. It is impossibly light weight, and offers brilliant high resolution screen, something no other manufacture is currently offering.
