Mouse Computer Japan has launched M-Book P500 laptop in Japan that comes with the latest i5-7400 or i7-7700 processors both of which have been just made available by Intel. The Mouse M-Book P500 specifications include 8GB / 16GB RAM, 500GB HDD / 2TB HDD, optional 2512 NVMe SSD and a 15.6 inch full HD 1920×1080 pixel LCD display.
Mouse M-Book P500’s graphics is handled by Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 GPU that has 4GB of dedicated VRAM. The laptop comes with Windows 10 Home pre-installed. Interface selection includes USB 3.0 × 3, USB 2.0, IEEE 802.11ac compatible wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI output, mini D-Sub 15 pin, multi card reader, 1 million pixel web camera, voice input and output.
Battery life is around 7.2 hours according to JEITA 2.0. The size is 375 × 257 × 31.5 mm (width × depth × height), the weight is about 2.6 kg.
Prices start at 99800 yen which is about 900 dollars and go upto 209800 yen which is 1900 dollars. With specifications like those, the Mouse M-Book P500 is perfect for a typical consumer or multimedia creator. It is also the first Japanese laptop to make use of the newer CPUs made available by Intel.
