Nippon HP has churned out two laptops, HP 15 Omen and HP 17 Omen in Japan. Packing 15.6” and 17.3” respectively, these laptops are ideal for heavy duty tasks such as gaming, video editing and anything else that you might want to do a laptop.
HP 15 Omen
HP 15 Omen specs include Core i7-6700HQ (2.6GHz), Intel HM170 chipset, 1,920 × 1,080 (full HD) display measuring 15.6 inches, USB 3.0 × 2, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0 output, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11ac-enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2, 0.92 megapixel webcam, audio input and output jacks. HP 15-ax021TX – memory 8GB / GeForce GTX 960M (4GB) / 1TB HDD. ¥ 119,800
15-ax022TX – memory 8GB / GeForce GTX 965M (4GB) / equipped with a 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, ¥ 139,800
15-ax023TX – 16GB + same specs as above. ¥ 161,800. The battery is a 3-cell lithium ion in all cases and HP claims you will get 7.5 hours of runtime. Body size is about 384 × 259 × 22 ~ 25mm (width × depth × height) and weighs about 2.24kg.
HP 17 Omen
Its specs include Core i7-6700HQ CPU, Intel HM170 chipset, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, DVD Super Multi drive, full HD display support 17.3-inch IPS non-glossy LCD display. Interface includes SD card slot, USB 3.0 × 2, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0 output, Gigabit Ethernet, IEEE 802.11ac-enabled wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.2, about 0.92 mega pixels Web camera, and audio input and output.
The battery size as claimed by manufacture is 6-cell lithium ion, running time is about 9 hours. Body size is about 418 × 287 × 24 ~ 30mm (width × depth × height) and weighs about 2.92kg.
