The Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi has been on sale from quite some time now but the company has just released its updated model in Japan packing the new Intel Atom Z3795 processor which is an upgrade from the older model that came with Z3775 processor.
Other changes included in this 2016 model include doubling the RAM (4GB) and Windows 10 Home instead of windows 8.1 with Bing. Other specs include Atom Z3795 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMC storage, 10.1 inch full HD display, Micro USB 3.0, Micro USB, micro SDXC card slot, Micro HDMI, IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n wireless LAN, Bluetooth 4.0, 2MP front, 5MP rear, 1W + 1W speaker , microphone input, headphone jack.
There is 2 cell battery in the tablet part and one cell in the keyboard part giving a total runtime of 8.2 hours. The keyboard part, once charged will give you around 40 hours of battery life. It measures 265 × 174.5 × 7.2mm (width × depth × height) and weighs 570 grams and about 1.08 kilos in weight. It comes equipped with sensors – acceleration, gyro, magnetic and ambient light. The upgraded Asus Transformer Book T100 Chi will retail for 53,784 yen in Japan.
