Toshiba has launched its 400 Euros 10.1-inch tablet – Toshiba Folio 100. Expected to be released in the Q4 2010, the Folio 100 will have an American Football game with its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 as-well-as 16GB of flash storage.
A 3G version is also in the tunnel, says Toshiba. I was able to spend sometime with the tablet and its Tegra 2 processor delivers amazing performance. The chip offers let you view full HD video via its full size HDMI port, which pretty much explains the amount of power it has under its shell. It zipped through the menus and played all Android games like a charm.
Internal storage is 16GB flash which is easily expandable via its full size SD card slot that accepts memory cards up to 32GB. On the front, you will find a 1.3 mega pixel webcam for video calls.
The chassis is plastic which makes it look cheap when compared to Galaxy Tab and iPad. Update – The company has release Toshiba ANT that runs Android honeycomb and offers much better specs. If you prefer windows, you might want to check out the new WT301 tablet.
