Starting at 650 dollars and highly customizable, HP’s newly available dv6z series offers a range of processors, graphics, and memory. That makes them ideal for the user who knows what they want and who is interested in ordering it direct from HP. Among other things, customers have the choice of four Llano-based chips. There is the A6 3400M, at 1.4GHz, upgradable to 2.3, and there is also the A8 3530MX, which starts at 1.9GHz and is upgradable to 2.6GHz.
The 15.6 inch diagonal LED screen can also be upgraded with a number of options: either 1080p with Fusion technology or with an AMD Radeon graphics card. Should you want more memory, the hard drive is expandable up to 1 Terabyte, and up to 16 gigs of RAM are also available. Considering the options for extending it, this notebook is therefore positioned for a range of uses, from gaming to office use.
So, the specs of the notebook go like this: 15.6 inch display, 16GB RAM, 1TB hard disk drive, 2x USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 1.4 (capable of outputting 3D video to an external HDTV or a bigger screen), AMD 1.9GHz A8-3530MX or A6-3400M processor, 2x USB 2.0 ports and a Blu ray drive.
