Alienware Alpha mini gaming PC launched in Japan

Dell Japan has churned out Alienware Alpha which is a small mini PC for gaming. Specifications include Core i3-6100T (3.2 GHz) / Core i5-6400T (2.2 GHz) / Core i7-6700T (2.8 GHz), GeForce GTX 960 (4 GB GDDR 5), 8 GB / 16 GB DDR 4 – 2133 memory, 256GB PCIe SSD / 1TB HDD and windows 10 home operating system. Interestingly, Dell opted for 6th generation Core processors and Nvidia 960M dedicated graphics card.

Alienware Alpha

This GPU is not pascal which means you do not desktop level graphics but this mini PC should still be good enough for gaming for most people. Interface selection includes USB 3.0 × 4, IEEE 802.11ac wireless LAN (Killer 1535), Bluetooth 4.1, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI 2.0, HDMI input, audio input and output etc. The size is 200 × 200 × 55 mm (width × depth × height), the weight is 1.81 kg. This Dell Alienware Alpha is excellent for VR and 4K gaming.

Alongside the Alpha, Dell also released Alienware 17 which a gaming laptop with 17.3 inch display. Fortunately, Dell did equip it with 7th generation kabylake Intel processor and Nvidia 1070 pascal graphics card. Its interface selection includes USB 3.0 x 3, Thunderbolt 3, IEEE 802.11ac wireless LAN (Killer 1535), Bluetooth 4.1, HDMI 2.0, Mini DisplayPort 1.2, voice input and output. The size is 424 x 332 x 29.9 mm (same), the weight is 4.42 kg.

Alienware 17

Its specs include 17.3 inch WQHD display with 2560 x1440 pixels, Intel Core i7- 7820 HK (2.9 GHz), GeForce GTX 1080 (8 GB GDDR 5 X) for GPU, DDR 4 – 2667 memory 8 GB × 2, 256 GB PCIe SSD + 1 TB HDD, windows 10 home OS.

The Alienware Alpha will cost 329980 yen which is about 3000 dollars.
