Toshiba Dynabook N29 and Dynabook N40 with Windows 10 operating system have been launched in Japan. These Dynabooks are priced at ¥ 80,000 ($643) and ¥ 90,000 ($723) respectively. Both have hybrid detachable design allowing user to use them as tablets and laptops. The keyboard of the Dynabook N29 is somewhat small as the screen size is mere 8.9 inches whereas the N40 has more comfortable keyboard since it has 10.1 inch screen. N29 has USB 2.0 and SD card slot while the N40 is equipped with two USB 2.0 ports.
Toshiba Dynabook N29 specifications include Atom Z3735F (1.33GHz, video capabilities built-in), 2GB installed memory, 64GB storage, Windows 10 Home 32 bit operating system and 8.9 inch full HD display packing 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. It has high resolution, high brightness and wide viewing angles.
Interface selection includes IEEE 802.11b / g / n wireless LAN, Bluetooth, Micro USB, Micro HDMI output, microSD card slot, 5 MP rear camera, 2MP FFC, headphone and microphone combo jack. Body size is 235 × 161 × 9.8mm (width × depth × height) and weighs about 479 grams. When docked, the Toshiba Dynabook N29 measures 235 × 170.6 × 19.9mm (same) and weighs a hefty 989 grams. Battery life is about 12 hours when using the device docked.
Toshiba Dynabook N40 specifications include Atom x5-Z8300 (1.44GHz, video capabilities built-in), 2GB RAM, 64GB flash storage, Windows 10 home OS and 10.1 inch 1,920 × 1,200 pixel display with high-brightness / high resolution / wide viewing angle LCD panel. It measures 258.8 × 178 × 9.1mm and weighs 552 grams.
