Apple Thunderbolt displays has been a boon for the Apple Macbooks with Thunderbolt capability as it not only gives the user an excellent external display, but also an array of extra (useful) ports and an HD camera. However, since Thunderbolt displays from Apple only work on their notebooks, HP is now offering a USB powered docking monitor, L2311C that work over a single USB port.
L2211c – In addition to its 23 inch display, you also get 4x USB 2.0 ports, VGA and a HD webcam (that works great with the MyRoom software from HP). The displays work better over USB 3.0 compared to USB 2.0.
