Corsair has released Force Series LS SSD in the global market. The new SSD is targeted at consumers and is more economical to upgrade a laptop or desktop PC. The Force Series LS utilizes a Phison 6 Gb/s controller and Toshiba’s NAND flash storage.
Benchmarks are not yet in yet but company claims transfer speeds of up to 555 MB/s read and 535 MB/s write speeds. Of course, it has support for garbage collection, TRIM command, SMART command support for monitoring the health of the drive.
Additional static and dynamic wear leveling algorithms are used to extend the lifespan of the Force Series LS SSD. The drive is mere 7 mm thick and will fit almost any laptop or desktop given it supports 2.5” or 3.5” format. These SATA III SSDs are offered in 60, 120 and 240GB capacities.

After installation, you should install Corsair SSD Toolbox to update it to latest firmware; optimize the SSD and monitor the health of it.
Prices of 60, 120 and 240GB capacities are $70, $110 and $200 respectively. They all come with 3 year warranty.
