Toronto based company, Kobo has a great reason to celebrate big right now. In their recently published statement, the company says that it was able to sell twice as many units in 2012 than it did in year 2011. Kobo added that more than 22 million ebook pages during the Christmas season.
On an average, Canadian users read 200 pages while the US folks read about 160 pages. However, the company did not give exact numbers on the number of e-readers sold. As of now, the company holds 20 percent of the total e-reader market which is not bad by any means. Kobo Glo, Mini and Kobo Arc were the most popular ones, their CEO added.
