For some reason, Apple decided to remove RSS support from the Mountain Lion with mail and Safari 6 web browser. Nobody complained about its removal from the Mail app but it did generate some buzz about Safari no longer detection RSS. Fortunately, Daniel from Red Sweater is already offering an RSS extension that more or less does the same stuff.
His extension, which is called “Subscribe to feed” handles RSS and Atom feeds like a charm and definitely fills the void for those who miss the RSS feature in Safari 6 browser. You also have the option to use Reeder app, which a nice Mac app obtainable from App Store. Download the RSS extension from here (direct link to extension). Oh, and make sure to subscribe to Mobilityupdate’s RSS feed too.
