So you just got yourself a brand new iPhone, and you backed up my old iPhone and restored it to the new one. Now, you constantly get notifications about low storage in iCloud. So, how would you deal with this problem. Basically, you get 25 gigabytes of storage in iCloud and information you store in iCloud is just a backup of your phone, a copy of what is already there on your iPhone or any other iOS device.
You can delete old iCloud backup by going to settings > iCloud > Storage and Backup > Manage store. This will show you a list of all backups stored in iCloud. Just select any backup by tapping on it and you will be shown its size and date the backup was last made. Tap on the ‘delete backup’ (located on the bottom) to erase it from the iCloud’s storage.
